History of La Montfarvillaise
Created in 1960 by Mr Jean Jaunet, the company
La Montfarvillaise is based in the village of
Montfarville. Its vocation was to wash and pack vegetables from the Val de Saire.
A wide variety of vegetables were produced on the land, and "discussions by mutual agreement" were made between producers and shippers to deliver the vegetables to the Paris vegetable markets.
In 1988
Eric Jaunet took over from his father at the helm of the company.
Oriented towards the future, the purchase of company La Merveille from owners Mr and Mrs Desrues allowed the company to move into another dimension (premises of 3000 m² overlooking the sea).
This change led to a significant commercial development during 1995, date when Mr Prel joined the
La Montfarvillaise sales team.
Today the company is directed by Eric and his wife Sophie.
La Montfarvillaise is now a reference address in the sector of
Norman vegetable shipment.
